Halasuru Gate police have arrested advocate Jagadish on Sunday morning.

According to a post by Jagadish on Facebook, police swooped on his residence in the morning and took him to the police station.

It is alleged that Jagadish has been arrested based on a complaint lodged by an advocate for making derogatory remarks on judges and others.

In the video, advocate Jagadish was heard arguing with the police inspector for coming to his home with a large number of policemen.

Jagadish has also argued on behalf of the victim in former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi CD case.

It may be recalled that Jagadish visited City Civil Court on Friday to file a petition against IPS officer Ravi D Chennanavar in an alleged land grabbing scam.

According to police sources, around 20 people attacked Jagadish’s son Aryan and his friend Sharath.

Severely injured Aryan is undergoing treatment at Victoria Hospital.

Halasuru Gate police have registered a complaint against unknown persons for attacking Aryan.
