“KGF Chapter 2” had a dream run for two weeks. Although the film slowed down after the first week in Telugu states, the action drama is continuing to rake in impressive amounts.
The Yash starrer is close to achieving a Rs 40 crore share in Nizam (Telangana), a record for a dubbed movie.
To avoid a clash with this monster hit, many small movies got postponed to next month. But now, “KGF 2” will face stiff competition from a big Telugu film.
Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer “Acharya” will occupy the majority of theaters in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana from this Friday. So, “KGF 2” will be restricted to limited screens.
It will be tough for “KGF 2” to face the heat from “Acharya”.
However, the film will continue its dream run in North India, Tamilnadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.
In North America, the film grossed 6.8 million in two weeks. Despite competition from “Acharya”, it still has a chance to cross the $7 million mark.
