Vice-Chancellors of universities have been asked by ACS, Department of Higher Education, to consider postponing the semester examinations of degree courses by one month.

G.Kumar Naik, ACS, Department of Higher Education, has stated in a press statement on Wednesday, that he has asked the VCs to take decision regarding postponement of examinations since teaching of syllabi is yet to be completed.

The teaching could not be completed within the timeframe since classes had to close in view of the surge in CORONA 3rd wave and Omicron cases.

Some of the universities had already announced the schedule of semester examinations.

But, The Commissioner, DCTE, had written a letter asking to postpone the examinations by a month in order to facilitate students better prepare, he has told.
